Engagement Priorities

To determine the Engagement priorities of the School in accordance with police and priorities of the University and the Faculty of Medicine Dentistry and Health sciences.

Engagement Activities

To promote Engagement activities that are characterised by their responsiveness and relevance to international, social, economic, environmental and cultural issues.

External Partners

To promote Engagement activities that include dealings between the School and its external partners.

Communities

To create benefits that flow in both directions as the community gains from the expertise of the School’s staff and students, and the School becomes better informed by ideas and experiences from beyond its boundaries.

Intellectual Capital

To identify potentially successful methodologies and techniques that will generate intellectual capital in ways that will mutually benefit the School and the external partners with which it engages. They will be linked within the School’s teaching and research activities..

Annual Targets

To set annual targets and goals for Engagement activities.

Support for Staff

To provide support to academic and professional staff to facilitate and promote Engagement activities in the School.

Strategies

To recommend strategies to assist staff in facilitating the uptake of Engagement activities between the School and the broader community.

Promotion

To promote Engagement impacts at a local community of global level that are marked by the School’s reputation and highest quality endeavours.
