Applications for the PhD, Masters of Philosophy and Masters by Research programs can be submitted at any time.


Application Process

Applying for a research higher degree with the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences comprises four main steps:

The Melbourne School of Health Sciences requires you to submit additional documents to support your application. Read more about preparing your application here.

Step 3: Submit a Formal Application Form

Once you have collected all the required supporting documents (including those specified above), submit the completed application form with supporting documentation to the Office of Admissions.

Step 4: Outcomes

Please read about timelines and what to do when you receive notice of the outcome of your formal application.
